InnaSCo symposium I
2018, May 23
The first InnaSCo Symposium was held on the 23rd of May 2018 at the Cancer Research Center of Lyon (within the conference room of the Cours Albert Thomas), with the financial support of two biotech companies: Tollys and Invivogen, as well as of the regional Inserm delegation. The turnout was quite good with 70 attendees, excellent scientific presentations and a poster session. The members of InnaSCo were thus able to present their research programs related to innate immune receptors, and PhD and post-doc researchers were given the opportunity to present their projects during the interactive poster session. A jury assessed the posters and awarded the best poster prize, amounting to 300 euros, to Brice Lagrange (post-doc at the International Center for Infectiology Research, CIRI). A second prize of 200 euros was then awarded by the participants to Amaury Rey (PhD student at the CIRI) for having created the best logo, which has become the new InnaSCo logo. Through this event, the different research groups were able to reinforce and broaden their collaborations, which resulted in particular in sharing validated tools to study immune receptors.
We look forward to seeing you in 2019 for the 2ndInnaSCo Symposium!
